German retailers slash OLED TV prices in August

MediaMarkt in Germany is clearing its remaining stock of the 65‑inch LG OLED C5 TV. The discount, available through a membership coupon booklet, reduces the price to about €1,170 (a 10 % cut) and is valid until 09:00 UTC on 10 August.

Lidl will launch a separate promotion on 17 August, offering the 65‑inch Samsung S85F OLED TV for €849, more than 70 % off the €2,899 manufacturer's suggested retail price. The deal represents a saving of roughly €2,050 compared with the original price and positions the TV well below competing offers from other German retailers.
