German Rock Open-Air Festivals Scheduled for July and September 2026

The Morgenrot Open Air will take place on 18‑19 September 2026 at the Paintballarena Rudolstadt (Schwarza, Thuringia). The two‑day event celebrates the 25th anniversary of the band Morgenrot and features performances by Leidbild, Tim Steinfort and Rockwasser, among others. Tickets are sold via Eventim and limited camping is available on request.

The Village Rock Söhlde Open Air is set for 10‑11 July 2026 at the Schwimmhalle Söhlde in Lower Saxony. Thirteen rock, hard‑rock and metal acts will perform, with the Italian‑Swiss band Tarchon Fist headlining on Saturday. Admission and camping are free, and a varied program runs from early evening until after midnight each day.
