ZDF announces three Giovanni Zarrella shows in Offenburg

ZDF has announced three upcoming entertainment specials hosted by Giovanni Zarrella, to be produced at the Baden-Arena in Offenburg. Despite recent low viewership figures for his Saturday night show, the broadcaster is continuing its partnership with the presenter for several year-end productions.

The scheduled programs include a live broadcast on November 21, 2026, titled ‘Die Giovanni Zarrella Show: Wir sagen Dankeschön’, which will honor volunteers and feature musical guests such as Beatrice Egli, Kerstin Ott, and Ronan Keating. A second live event, ‘Die große Weihnachtsshow’, is set for December 3, 2026.

Additionally, a special tribute to the German band PUR, titled ‘Abenteuerland – Ein Abend für PUR’, will be recorded on November 25, 2026. This production, featuring guests like Peter Maffay and Howard Carpendale, is expected to air in early 2027.
