Matthias Reim delays musical project and releases new album

German Schlager singer Matthias Reim has announced that his planned musical based on the hit ‘Verdammt, ich lieb’ dich’ is currently on hold. The delay is attributed to the time demands of his ongoing anniversary tour. Reim indicated he might revisit the project in 2028.

Reim is also releasing a new album titled ‘Flashback,’ which incorporates musical elements from his past and features collaborations with his son, Julian Reim, and singer Mia Julia. Despite his musical evolution, Reim stated he has no intention of returning to regular performances at Ballermann in Mallorca.

In personal news, Reim spoke about his long-term marriage to Christin Stark. Meanwhile, his daughter Marie Reim has publicly announced her separation from former footballer Raphael Wolf after a two-year relationship. Additionally, veteran singer Heino revealed he underwent heart surgery earlier this year, noting the procedure was life-saving.
