German Schools Abroad Association meets with lawmakers

The World Association of German Schools Abroad (WDA) held its second Parliamentary Breakfast on September 24, 2026, to discuss the necessary framework conditions for non-profit school providers.

Representatives from several German political parties, including the CDU/CSU, SPD, and Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, participated in the exchange. The discussions focused on the role of German schools abroad in providing diverse educational paths, teaching the German language, and promoting democratic values while connecting host countries with Germany.
