German Schools Celebrate Success at Kangaroo Math Competition
Two German schools reported strong participation in the international Kangaroo Math Competition. At Gesamtschule Mittelkreis, 233 pupils tackled the multiple‑choice puzzles, earning certificates and small prizes, with the school’s support association recognized for its funding.
At Albrecht‑Altdorfer‑Gymnasium in Regensburg, 575 students from grades 5‑8 and older enthusiasts took part on 19 March 2026. All competitors received a certificate and a souvenir award; additional prizes such as experiment kits, strategy games, and books were presented by Dr Blank. The event aims to foster enjoyment of mathematics through challenging logic and estimation tasks.
