German schools celebrate numerous graduations and award certificates

A series of graduation ceremonies took place across Germany in July 2026. At the Fachschulen of the Landwirtschaftskammer Nordrhein‑Westfalen, 371 students received agricultural and horticultural qualifications, including 171 state‑certified agribusiness managers and 332 master‑craft certificates. President Karl Werring highlighted the importance of responsibility and interpersonal skills.

In Bavaria, the Staatliche Berufsschule II Kempten awarded 317 vocational diplomas, three dotated state prizes and recognitions for an Erasmus‑Ireland project. The Realschule Oberding conferred the Mittlere Reife on 53 pupils, while the Anne‑Frank‑Realschule Laichingen granted 96 graduates their secondary school certificates, honouring top performers with grades better than 1.9.

Further ceremonies included the Realschule Kaufering (82 graduates), Rupert‑Egenberger‑Schule in Amberg (16 vocational graduates), and a local ceremony in Niedermurach honouring retiring rector Ortrud Sperl. A French language class at the Carl‑Theodor‑Schule Schwetzingen saw six students obtain the DELF‑A2 certificate.

These events collectively marked the transition of hundreds of young people into higher education, the workforce or further training, underscoring the role of regional education institutions in Germany.
