German schools host Spanish students in Erasmus+ exchanges

The Paul‑Löbe‑Schule in Berlin received a second Erasmus+ grant for the 2025/2026 school year, enabling a week‑long exchange with the secondary school Azcona in Almería, Spain. Spanish pupils visited Berlin from 18 to 25 April and German students traveled to Spain from 9 to 15 May, working on emotional‑intelligence skills such as self‑awareness, regulation, motivation, empathy and social competence through daily diary tasks and cultural outings.

At AAG Regensburg, Spanish teacher Montserrat Rovira Gomez from the I.E.S. Campiña Alta in Castilla‑La Mancha spent 6 to 10 July on an Erasmus+‑funded job‑shadowing placement. She observed classes, discussed digitalisation and school absenteeism with staff, and exchanged ideas with the school’s administration and counselling team.

Both projects aim to strengthen intercultural competence, tolerance and inclusion while deepening mutual understanding between German and Spanish education communities.
