German Science Pop‑up Exhibitions Reach Milestones in Hagen and Freising
The Mathematikum in Gießen celebrated its 1,000th traveling exhibition, now displayed at the open‑air museum in Hagen, North Rhine‑Westphalia. The exhibition, built on two decades of outreach, is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors over its two‑year run.
The Curiocity pop‑up science centre in Freising, Bavaria, has been granted a second extension, remaining open until 31 December 2026. Over 10,000 visitors have already attended; the centre offers more than 60 rotating hands‑on stations covering mathematics, informatics, natural science and technology, and is supported by the city of Freising and Sparkasse Freising‑Moosburg.
