German secondary schools are preparing for the 2026/2027 academic year with various administrative updates.

Stiftland-Gymnasium Tirschenreuth has scheduled its start for September 15, 2026. The event includes a welcome for 5th-grade students and their parents led by Principal Matthias Weiser, covering organizational matters and all-day care. Students in grades 6 through 11 will meet in their respective classrooms at 8:00 AM.

At Landfermann-Gymnasium Duisburg, the school has announced the availability of various extracurricular working groups (AGs) for the first half of the school year. Students interested in receiving formal recognition on their report cards must complete a self-assessment form at the end of the semester to confirm their participation and level of engagement.
