German shooting festivals crown new kings in Isenbruch and Hervest

Local shooting festivals (Schützenfeste) were held in Isenbruch and Dorf Hervest, Germany.

In Isenbruch, the St. Martini Schützenbruderschaft held its annual 'Vogelschuss' at Schöttehuus. Dietmar Hermanns was crowned the new shooting king after an exceptionally long competition. It took 1,280 shots to bring down the wooden bird, marking what is described as the longest competition in the club's 50-year history since its re-establishment in 1976. Hermanns has achieved this title three times during his membership.

In Dorf Hervest, the Allgemeine Bürgerschützenverein hosted a children's shooting festival involving 54 participants aged three to eleven. Emil Keller was named the new children's king after 162 shots, with Rosa Stanicki serving as his queen. The event also featured the unveiling of a new children's king chain, which displays medals from all children's king pairs dating back to 1950.
