German Sleep Coach Alexander Lange Urges EMF‑Free Bedroom

A press release from the Berufsverband der Präventologen announces that healthy sleep begins with a consciously designed bedroom. The statement emphasizes that reducing stimuli—light, noise, and especially electromagnetic fields (EMF) from Wi‑Fi, mobile networks and electronic devices—supports bodily regeneration.

Sleep coach Alexander Lange of Bad Kissingen recommends creating an "offline zone" in the sleep area: switch off Wi‑Fi at night, keep smartphones out of reach or in flight mode, and remove unnecessary electrical equipment. The advice is presented alongside a discussion of the mixed scientific evidence on EMF health effects, noting that existing exposure limits are based on thermal effects while non‑thermal influences are still under study.
