German Sports Clubs Celebrate Successful Season Conclusions
LG Staufen wrapped up its athletics season with several personal bests. Ben Frei ran 100 m in 11.23 s and 200 m in 22.75 s, both personal records, while Lukas Wagner posted solid times of 11.77 s (100 m) and 23.55 s (200 m). In the jumps, Jeremias Ring placed fourth in the long jump with 6.28 m, and Leana Scholz secured third place in the women’s 100 m with a personal best of 12.45 s and added a 5.38 m long‑jump performance.
SV Tell Löhlitz concluded a prolific shooting season, claiming multiple team titles across air‑rifle and air‑pistol disciplines. The 1st air‑rifle squad won the Oberfrankenliga championship and earned promotion to the Bayernliga after a second‑place finish in the ascent meet. Individual shooters such as Jürgen Wallowsky (2nd place, 391.36 rings) and Juliana Maier (3rd place, 378.33 rings) also featured prominently. The club celebrated these achievements with a communal gathering and looks ahead to the upcoming autumn season.
