German streamer Adam Wolke and game creator Manuel Otto pass away
The German streaming and gaming communities are mourning the deaths of two prominent figures. Adam Wolke, known online as SkylineTV, died at age 38 following a severe brain hemorrhage caused by a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. His death was announced by colleagues Jens ‘Knossi’ Knossalla and Verena Ullrich, who noted they were by his side until the end.
Following the news, the streamer Tanzverbot issued a statement condemning disrespectful comments made by his own community regarding Wolke’s past disputes with other creators.
Separately, Manuel Otto, the 30-year-old developer of the widely popular game ‘Stick Run’, died in Bavaria. Reports indicate that Otto died during a livestream on Twitch following an apparent suicide involving fire in his attic apartment. Twitch responded by removing the footage and issuing a statement regarding the importance of mental health and community wellbeing. The ‘Stick Run’ team confirmed his passing, noting that Otto had developed the game when he was only 14 years old.
