German students undertake educational trips to England
German students from WSG participated in educational trips to England during July 2026.
One group of 36 eighth-grade students visited Hastings on the south coast. Their itinerary included English language lessons, a guided tour of Hastings' historic center and fishing harbor, and a cliff walk to Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. The group also traveled to London for a Thames river cruise to see landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, visited Brighton, and explored Canterbury, including its Roman museum and cathedral.
A second group consisting of 70 seventh-grade students traveled to Tenterden in Kent. Their activities included visiting Dover Castle and its wartime tunnels, walking the White Cliffs of Dover, and exploring London. The trip also featured a visit to Hastings for a smuggler-themed adventure and cricket training sessions.
