German symphonic metal band Xandria releases new album Eclipse
German symphonic metal group Xandria announced the release of their new album Eclipse, scheduled for this Friday on Napalm Records. The title track and its official video were unveiled, showcasing vocalist Ambre Vourvahis’s range from melodic passages to powerful rock screams and operatic sections.
Band leader Marco Heubaum described the song as a battle between light and darkness, emphasizing the album’s defiant stance on reason, empathy and democracy. Following the launch, Xandria will perform at Germany’s M’era Luna Festival and embark on a European tour that begins in September, with dates across the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, and other venues.
The 11‑track record blends classic metal riffs, modern low‑tuned guitars, cinematic orchestration, Celtic folk elements and electronic textures, marking what the band calls their most outspoken and cinematic work to date.
