German Table Tennis Bundesliga launches German-Chinese Economic Forum
The German Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) and the German Table Tennis Federation (DTTB) have launched a new initiative to leverage the massive Chinese table tennis market. This includes the establishment of the German-Chinese Economic Forum in collaboration with the Academy of German World Market Leaders (ADWM) and the Chinese Consulate General in Frankfurt.
To deepen ties, the TTBL and DTTB have secured a sponsorship agreement with the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Leapmotor. Additionally, the streaming platform Youku Sports has acquired the broadcasting rights for Bundesliga matches in China. The initiative follows the increased popularity of the league driven by Chinese Olympic champion Fan Zhendong's participation in the TTBL.
