German tech conferences focus on AI integration and cybersecurity
Recent technology conferences in Germany highlighted the evolving role of artificial intelligence in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and cybersecurity. At the Asseco Solutions Vision Days in Bad Vilbel, approximately 600 participants discussed how AI is transforming ERP systems from passive administrative tools into active process partners. The current APplus generation aims to automate workflows and provide actionable business intelligence to support decision-making.
In Wiesbaden, the SCALTEL TechUpdate Rhein-Main gathered over 200 attendees to address IT sovereignty, AI, and cybersecurity. Experts discussed the dual nature of AI in the threat landscape, noting its ability to both facilitate and defend against cyberattacks. The event included live-hacking demonstrations, such as bypassing biometric authentication methods like Windows Hello, to illustrate current digital vulnerabilities.
