The group, led by a character named Sterni, attempts to revitalize a dilapidated former FDGB holiday camp by staging a rock opera titled ‘Träume - Tränen - Trauerspiele’. The story explores themes of ‘Ostalgie’ and provides a critical look at the history of socialism in the mountain region, while facing opposition from a local mayor.
