Television viewership trends in Germany show fluctuating interest in culinary programming. The show ‘Kitchen Impossible’ on VOX has experienced inconsistent ratings during its repeat broadcasts. While a 2023 repeat achieved a yearly record with a 12.6 percent market share among the 14-49 demographic on August 9, viewership dropped significantly in the following week.

In a separate culinary report, the travel and cooking magazine ‘Zu Tisch’ featured an episode focused on the Wienerwald and Mostviertel regions of Austria. The program highlighted the Elsbeere, a rare fruit tree species. The episode explored the challenges of harvesting these trees, which can grow up to 30 meters tall, and demonstrated various culinary uses for the fruit, including applications in cheese, ragout, and traditional pastries.
