Nadja Benaissa reveals No Angels member was forced out due to pregnancy
During the reality TV show ‘Promi Big Brother’, singer Nadja Benaissa has shared new details regarding the history of the German girl group No Angels. Benaissa addressed the 2002 departure of founding member Jessica Wahls, clarifying that Wahls did not leave the group voluntarily to pursue a solo career as was officially stated at the time.
Benaissa stated, “Jess didn’t leave, she was let go,” explaining that the management made the decision because Wahls had become pregnant. Benaissa expressed regret over the band's handling of the situation, noting, “We messed up, unfortunately,” and suggesting the members could have advocated more strongly for their colleague.
In separate discussions on the same program, former professional footballer Christian Lell has also opened up about personal struggles. Lell spoke about the emotional impact of losing his sister to cystic fibrosis in 2014 and reflected on his transition from a career with FC Bayern Munich to the real estate industry.
