German television programming features crime and mountain rescue series

Various German television series are scheduled for broadcast, including several crime dramas and a mountain rescue series.

In the crime series SOKO Wien, investigators look into the murder of a publishing employee, Luise, while a professor confesses to an affair but denies involvement.

The SOKO Leipzig series continues its 27th season with an episode titled ‘Letzte Umarmung’. The plot follows Ewald Krüger, who is grieving the loss of his daughter Pia and his wife Lydia. The investigation explores whether Lydia’s death was a suicide or murder, potentially providing clues to Pia’s unsolved killing.

Additionally, the mountain rescue series Die Bergretter features an episode where a man falls while visiting a memorial, leading to a missing person report. The episode also explores family tensions involving the character Markus Kofler and his unexpected arrival of his half-brother, Jan.
