German theme parks announce new attractions for 2026
Germany's theme park sector is introducing various new attractions and experiences for the 2026 season.
In Baden-Württemberg, Europa-Park is launching a new Monaco-themed area inspired by the Côte d’Azur, featuring Mediterranean architecture and motorsport elements. The park is also expanding its hospitality offerings with the Riverside Western Lodge and opening 'Sallys Café.' Additionally, a new children's house, 'Kleine Helden,' has been established in collaboration with charitable organizations to support families affected by childhood cancer. Nearby, the historic Tripsdrill park is introducing new family attractions.
In eastern Saxony, near the Polish border, the Turisede fantasy park offers a non-traditional experience. Founded by Eugen Valtin, the park focuses on hand-crafted wooden structures, treehouses, and an extensive network of over 500 meters of underground tunnels and secret passages, moving away from traditional high-speed roller coasters toward immersive storytelling.
