JUNG has introduced fiber‑optic wall plates that can be installed alongside existing electrical switches and sockets, allowing the network hardware to blend with interior design. The products, offered in the AS/A, CD and LS series, are suitable for new construction as well as renovations, supporting fast internet, stable streaming and reliable home‑office connections.

In the municipality of Ascheberg, technical services are conducting plate‑pressure measurements to verify ground compaction before laying fiber cables. When the surface is found to be insufficiently compacted or overly dense, the town will carry out remedial work, which may involve reopening streets to correct the deficiencies and ensure a quality fiber‑optic network.
