German towns Gladbeck and Dinkelsbühl launch summer open‑air entertainment programs

In Gladbeck, the KUSSS summer program runs from 11 to 16 August 2026, offering three free events for families. On 11 August the band Mandolinis performs rock‑pop children’s songs at the BBzB venue. On 13 August the figurine‑theatre group Marmelock presents “Schaf Fiete”, a story about a red‑white striped sheep seeking a place where being different is accepted, in the Mathias‑Jakobs‑Stadthalle. The series concludes on 16 August with the Duo Evergreen playing folk, schlager and rock ’n’ roll at the Wasserschloss Wittringen.

At the same time, Dinkelsbühl’s Wörnitzstrandbad was transformed into an open‑air cinema for the start of the summer holidays. The venue screened the sheep‑themed crime film “Glenkill”, with visitors seated on chairs, blankets and camping chairs on the lawn under string lights.
