German towns host American tour concert and university cultural night

The American Music Abroad Bronze Tour performed a free concert on 1 July in Wolframs‑Eschenbach, Germany. Four ensembles – a 50‑member wind band, a 13‑musician string group, a 21‑member jazz band and an 18‑voice choir – presented a repertoire ranging from classical masters to Broadway hits and contemporary American compositions. The musicians represent 30 high schools and universities from Delaware and Pennsylvania and are part of a 17‑day, six‑country European tour scheduled for 2026.

At the Hochschule Ansbach, a cultural evening was held on 22 June as an open‑air event on the main campus. Forty‑five students performed a programme that included orchestral pieces from Grieg’s *Peer Gynt*, medleys of “Aladdin” songs and Coldplay hits, a choir rendition of “Hotel California”, a poetry‑slam segment, and a final set by the student band “unisex perchance”. The night also featured campus games and awards for student participation in sports and health activities.
