German towns host local music concerts and training hubs

The open‑air rock concert in Burgstemmen attracted sizable crowds to the Leinetal‑Arena, where regional bands Andi. Punkt and Monkey Train performed before a free‑entry audience enjoying food, drink and shelter from weather.

In Seevetal, the Amateurmusikverband Niedersachsen opened a new music centre in partnership with the local wind orchestra and the MUSAS music academy. The facility will host lessons, workshops and conductor training for amateur musicians throughout northern Lower Saxony, aiming to bring musical education closer to residents.

Both events highlight ongoing efforts in Germany to strengthen community music culture, from live performances in small towns to structured training opportunities for non‑professional musicians.
