German towns host summer open‑air concerts in Oldendorf and Hürth

The cultural association in Oldendorf‑Himmelpforten will stage its second garden concert of 2026 on 10 July 2026 at the Brunkhorst House. The free event, starting at 19:00 with doors open at 20:00, features German pop‑rock band MEILENTAUCHER, known for energetic live shows and socially aware lyrics. Attendance is free, with a voluntary donation to support future concerts.

In the neighboring town of Hürth, the Kulturamt’s #HÜRTHimSommer series continues with two open‑air performances. On 16 July, the band Tante Käthe will play Cologne‑style classics and contemporary hits, while on 17 July, Marley’s Ghost presents a tribute to Bob Marley. Tickets cost €15 in advance (€17 at the box office) and the concerts begin at 20:00, with entry two hours earlier. Both events are part of a broader summer programme that runs in the outdoor area behind the Hürth Bürgerhaus through 22 July, offering diverse cultural activities for local residents.
