German towns host vibrant folk festivals in Bruckmühl and Eibelstadt

The Bruckmühl Volksfest concluded with a three‑day program that combined traditional Bavarian celebrations with a boxing and kick‑boxing competition staged in the festival tent. Hundreds of visitors watched amateur and professional fights on a specially built ring, while the final evening featured a marching band and a stone‑lifting contest that revived an old Bavarian tradition.

Meanwhile, the 18th Unterfränkisch Volksmusikfest in Eibelstadt turned the town into a stage for traditional music and dance. Organisers highlighted lively polonaises, folk performances and community participation, with long‑time members praising the event’s atmosphere and cultural significance.

Both festivals showcased regional customs, sports entertainment and communal music, drawing local crowds and reinforcing the cultural calendar in southern Germany.
