German travel operators open winter bookings and autumn holiday options

The German travel market is seeing significant activity as operators open bookings for upcoming seasons. The Dertour Group, including brands such as Meiers Weltreisen and ITS, has released approximately 80 percent of its winter 2026/27 portfolio. Available destinations include long-haul locations like the Maldives, Thailand, Vietnam, and Japan, as well as safari trips to South Africa and Kenya, and winter destinations in Finland and Norway.

Regarding autumn holiday planning, Alltours reports that Turkey and Egypt currently offer the best value for sun-seeking travelers, though Greece remains highly booked. While some travel segments are seeing increased prices compared to 2025, industry experts from TUI Deutschland and Alltours suggest that flexibility regarding departure airports and specific destinations can still yield savings. Some travel contingents are already heavily booked, but spontaneous travelers may still find availability by adjusting their routes.
