German TSV clubs host summer sport weekends, securing youth qualification for national championships

The TSV Obergimpern in Bad Rappenau organized its traditional summer sport weekend from 3‑5 July 2026 at the Krebsbach‑Arena. The program featured a 9‑meter tournament on Friday, youth track‑and‑field events for the E, D and C age groups on Saturday, an AH tournament in the evening, and a family‑focused final day with a F‑youth tournament and a Bambini play fest.

Meanwhile, athletes from TSV Leichtathletik recorded strong performances at several meets, including the International LAZ Meeting in Rhede and the Cologne and Dortmund meetings. The men’s 4×100 m relay posted a 40.10‑second time, meeting the A‑norm for the German championships, while sprinters Eddie Reddemann (10.51 s) and Daniel Hoffmann (10.62 s) also qualified. Jumpers, throwers and middle‑distance runners achieved A‑ and B‑norms, securing spots for the upcoming U16, U20 and U23 German championships.
