German University of Wuppertal and TU Graz Host Student Orientation Events

On 23 September 2024 the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Wuppertal invited prospective and new students to a 1½‑hour campus tour starting at 11:00 at the main entrance on Gaußstraße 20. The walk covered the student office, library, canteen and coffee bar, followed by a communal lunch in the university cafeteria. The same day at 14:00 an information session for the programmes “Study for Older Students” and “Guest Auditors” was held in lecture hall 23 (room S. 08.03), with a further session for current senior students at 16:00. Registration was requested via Franziska Reimann (reimann@uni‑wuppertal.de).

Two days later, on 27 September 2024, the Technical University of Graz organised its Welcome Days for incoming students of the winter semester 2024/25. The events were streamed live from 9:00 a.m. and also offered on‑site presentations covering library access, digital teaching platforms, IT services such as eduroam and VPN, and opportunities for studying abroad. No prior registration was required, and further information and a booklet for newcomers were available on the TU Graz website.
