Later that week, on the schoolyard of a Mannheim secondary school, an unknown perpetrator set an aluminum‑lined container filled with waste paper ablaze around 22:00. Police are also treating this as a suspected arson case and have appealed for witnesses, noting that a group of youths was seen on the premises before the fire.
