German wind developers PNE and Qualitas secure new onshore project awards

PNE AG won two onshore wind contracts in the May 2026 Bundesnetzagentur tender. The company will build the 100.8 MW Beerfelde wind park in Brandenburg and a 7.2 MW repowering project at Hassendorf in Niedersachsen, bringing its awarded capacity to 108 MW. PNE is also studying a grid‑compatible green‑power storage system for Beerfelde, said COO Roland Stanze.

Qualitas Energy Deutschland secured three projects totalling 113.2 MW across Rheinland‑Pfalz and Niedersachsen, comprising 16 turbines that will supply roughly 75,000 households. CEO Johannes Overbeck noted the award underscores the platform’s strength in the competitive German market. The tender attracted 628 bids representing 6,409 MW, more than double the 2,495 MW offered, with award prices ranging from 4.44 ct/kWh to 5.19 ct/kWh (average 5.06 ct/kWh).
