German women's football clubs unveil new coaches and preseason squads for 2026/27

FV Ötigheim announced a restructuring of its women's team coaching staff for the 2026/27 season. Former player Jana Diehl will replace Sina Zink and will work alongside long‑time coach Matthias Tüg as a new trainer duo.

SC Freiburg's women's side began its preseason preparations under new head coach Marco Konrad. The club introduced eleven new players, including several promoted from its own youth ranks, while some regulars are absent due to pregnancy, injury or national team duties. Freiburg has scheduled five test matches against Swiss clubs and a German opponent ahead of the upcoming Bundesliga season.
