German youth fire brigades organize training camps and community events

Youth fire brigades in Germany are organizing various training and community events. In Berlin, the youth fire brigade held a ten-day training camp at KiEZ Frauensee in Königs Wusterhausen. The event hosted over 400 children and adolescents, featuring intensive training sessions in first aid, emergency scenarios, and technical skills. High-ranking officials, including Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner and Senator Iris Spranger, attended the opening to recognize the volunteers' commitment.

In Korbach, the Eppe and Hillershausen fire departments are scheduled to host the Korbach youth fire brigade city tent camp from August 21 to 23, 2026. The program includes a village rally, performance exercises for the city trophy, and various community activities such as campfires and games.
