German youth fire brigades receive community donations

Local youth fire brigades in Germany have received recent financial support from community organizations.

In Blomberg, the Blomberg Marketing e. V. donated 1,300 euros to the Blomberg youth fire brigade. The funds were raised through a raffle held during the 25th annual Kunstmauer event, which featured works from 47 artists. The donation is intended to support upcoming activities, such as a planned trip to Norderney, educational excursions, or the purchase of training materials.

In Kolenfeld, the newly established 'Löschbande Kolenfeld' children's fire brigade held its first regular service with 42 participants. The group received a 400-euro donation from 'Helfende Raben e. V.', an organization supported by personnel from the Wunstorf Air Base. These funds are designated for future services and youth development work within the brigade.
