German youth football and floorball clubs wrap up 2025/26 seasons
The DJK Holzbüttgen floorball club in Germany concluded its 2025/26 youth season with a series of celebrations, including stand‑up paddling trips, summer festivals for the U9 and U11 teams, and a combined carriage‑ride and paddling tour for the U17 squad. The club announced a summer break with no regular training but offered a Bundesliga‑Academy camp in August for players from U9 to U15.
The U19 women’s football team secured early promotion‑retention in the Frauen‑Regionalliga Süd, clinching their place two matchdays before the season’s end after a 5‑0 away win over VfL Herrenberg. Coach Benjamin Becker highlighted the squad’s development, noting progress in technical play and the transition of players from the U17 level to senior football.
Both clubs praised their coaches, officials, and players for the season’s achievements and looked ahead to the 2026/27 campaigns.
