At the Mini‑WM 2026 held on 4 June at Speckenbütteler Park, Lloyd Gymnasium Bremerhaven’s boys team captured the title with a 1‑0 victory over Raabe‑Schule, while the girls secured a third‑place finish. The girls later won the Landesfinale of “Jugend trainiert für Olympia” on 11 June, earning a ticket to the national final in Berlin.

Ingelheim hosted the GEDEA Jugend‑& Dorfcup 2026 over a weekend, featuring Bambini, F‑Jugend, E‑Jugend and D‑Jugend matches. The “Schoppefetzer” team triumphed in the overall standings, and the event generated revenue to support the local youth department’s programmes.
