German Youth Orchestras Captivate Audiences in Bocholt and Scheuring
Around 470 concertgoers attended a benefit performance by the Rotary Club Bocholt featuring the Landesjugendorchester NRW. Conducted by Sebastian Tewinkel, the 80‑member youth orchestra played works such as Smetana’s “The Moldau,” Berio’s “Folk Songs,” and Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony, with soloist Anna Amanda Stolere joining the program.
In Scheuring, about 260 guests gathered for the annual concert of the Bläserjugend Paartal. Sixty young musicians performed popular film scores and traditional pieces, while local mayors and state parliament member Alex Dorow attended. The event highlighted the vibrancy of Germany’s youth music scene and the active support from community organisations.
