German youth sports competitions conclude in Chemnitz and Freiberg

Ultimate Frisbee German Youth Championships SV Elbland Coswig-Meißen youth athletics Chemnitz

Various youth sports competitions took place in Germany in September. In Chemnitz, the German Youth Ultimate Championships featured 40 teams across the U14, U17, and U20 age groups. The Bad Raps (TV Bad Rappenau) secured the U14 gold title, the Moskitos (MTV München) won the U17 division, and Pizza Volante (SSC Eva Schulze Leipzig) took the U20 championship.

In Freiberg, the Planeta Elbland joint team competed in the state championships. The U20 team earned a silver medal with 6,198 points across disciplines including sprinting, long jump, shot put, javelin, 800m, and relay. The MU16 team finished in fifth place despite facing challenges such as wind, low temperatures, and injuries.
