Germany hosts various regional cultural and community events
Various cultural and community events are scheduled across Germany. In Dresden, the Dresden Zoo will increase annual pass prices by up to 32 percent starting October 1 to offset rising energy and personnel costs.
In Lower Saxony, the fourth Niedersächsische Zootage will take place on September 26 and 27, allowing annual pass holders from participating zoos, including Wildpark Müden, free entry to 25 different zoological facilities. Meanwhile, the Tiergarten Mönchengladbach is hosting an art conservation month throughout September, featuring educational programs on biodiversity and nocturnal animals.
Cultural festivities include the Kulturmeile in Braunschweig, featuring theater, music, and museum programs, and a food truck festival at Spielbudenplatz in Hamburg. Other local events include the World Children's Day celebrations in Oer-Erkenschwick, a street art festival in Prien, and a magic show by world champion Marc Weide in Bargteheide.
