Germany and Lithuania advance to FIBA U16 EuroBasket quarterfinals

In the FIBA U16 EuroBasket round of 16, Germany secured a 78-75 victory over Israel to advance to the quarterfinals. The German team, coached by Dirk Bauermann, maintained a lead through much of the game before a close finish.

Lithuania advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Italy with a score of 80-72. Despite a strong start from the Italian side and a 30-point performance from Aaron Mathis, Lithuania took control in the third quarter.

The German U16 team is scheduled to face Lithuania in the quarterfinals, while Italy will compete in the 9th-16th place classification bracket.
