Germany announces bridge rebuild, school LED upgrade and solar auction results

The Regensburg district in Bavaria issued public tenders for several construction projects, including the replacement of the 80‑metre flood bridge on Kreisstraße R 21 at Regenstauf, the LED lighting renovation and electrical upgrade of the sports hall at Realschule Neutraubling, and the construction of the new R 30 road segment between Poign and Köfering with associated traffic‑signal installation.

The Federal Network Agency published the results of its solar‑farm auction for free‑field sites. The lowest awarded bid was €0.0399 /kWh, the highest €0.0510 /kWh, with an average weighted price of €0.0494 /kWh. A total of 268 bids received a combined capacity of 2,299,280 kW. The agency noted that certain provisions of the “Solar Package I” remain pending European Commission state‑aid approval, which could affect maximum bid volumes and premium rates for special PV installations.
