The term, which stands for ‘Moms I’d like to fuck’ and is primarily used in pornographic contexts, has drawn mixed reactions both within and outside the party. Jonait has defended the choice, stating that while it is a ‘naturally provocative’ move, the necklace symbolizes autonomy and dynamism. She noted that she understands those who disagree but maintains she has the support of her party.

The incident has generated significant social media attention in a region where the CDU has seen declining electoral strength, dropping from approximately 31% in 2016 to 19.3% in 2021. While some supporters praise her for not altering her personality to fit traditional political images, critics have labeled the choice shameful, suggesting it is a pursuit of publicity rather than a meaningful political message.
