The motion proposes creating a centralized memorial area in a cemetery for victims of war, terror, and National Socialism instead of individual sidewalk stones. Critics, including the Association of Persecutees of the Nazi Regime and the State Association of Jewish Communities in Saxony, argue that such a move undermines the specific remembrance of Nazi crimes and the lives of individual victims.
