Germany dominates youth FEI Dressage European Championships in Le Mans
Germany achieved a clean sweep of the youth FEI Dressage European Championships in Le Mans, France, winning the team pony title and the individual gold with Leni‑Sophie Gosmann on Diamantini EA WE. The German team, coached by Marion Fohrer, also secured silver and bronze in the team competition, while Denmark captured the freestyle gold and Sweden took bronze.
In the same event, the German junior voltige team from VV Köln‑Dünnwald won the European title, earning gold, while Arne Heers and Leonel Gelke added silver and bronze in the U21 men’s competition. The German athletes highlighted the strength of their ponies and horses and reported little pressure during the contests.
