Germany hosts major motor festivals at Nürburgring and Willingen

The Nürburgring in the Eifel region staged the FIA European Truck Racing Championship Grand Prix, drawing more than 70,000 spectators over three days. The event featured heavy‑duty trucks from manufacturers such as MAN, Iveco, Freightliner, Scania and Mercedes, alongside a support program that included ADAC GT Masters races and a Cup‑and‑Touring‑Car trophy. Notable drivers included Norbert Kiss, Jochen Hahn and Sascha Lenz, who battled for the lead across a 3.629‑kilometre sprint circuit.

Meanwhile, the town of Willingen hosted the Harley Days festival, where several thousand Harley‑Davidson motorcycles filled the venue. The weekend program combined loud engine revs, live music, burnouts that sparked tire fires, a bull‑riding arena and helicopter tours, attracting large crowds to both the festival grounds and the town centre. Both events highlighted Germany’s enthusiasm for motor‑sport culture and large‑scale automotive celebrations.
