Germany hosts multiple classic car festivals in 2026

The Classic Day event held on 19 July 2026 at the historic Henrichshütte site in Hattingen gathered more than 600 vehicles, predominantly Volkswagen models such as the Beetle and classic Porsche cars, with support from Original VW Classic Parts. Attendees enjoyed a red‑carpet showcase, photographic opportunities and a relaxed atmosphere despite warm summer temperatures.

Later in the year, DEKRA organised its Klassik Tage on 19‑20 September 2026 at the Lausitzring. The programme includes historic automobiles, motorcycles, tractors and race cars, a track‑day featuring about 150 vintage racers, an exclusive exhibition of rare vehicles, a dealer mile and organized rides with experienced drivers. Both events aim to celebrate automotive heritage and attract enthusiasts from across Germany.
