Germany identifies over 9,000 Islamist extremists as prone to violence

Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution reports that 28,645 individuals are classified as belonging to the Islamist environment, and about 9,110 of them are deemed prone to commit violent acts. In addition, German police have labeled more than 400 persons as "Gefährder," indicating a risk of carrying out serious violent offences.

These figures highlight a security concern within Germany, the EU's largest member state, and serve as a warning for neighboring countries about the potential threat posed by radicalised groups.
